1. Submit a ticket to the Data Curation team including information on the type and size of data you want to submit and if the data can be open or if it needs to be embargoed. A member of the data curation team will then send you a metadata record to complete or you can download the relevant sheet here: physical or chemical oceanographic metadata, biological metadata or simple metadata (to be used for Parent records or when submitting documents or reports).

Complete the metadata record and upload your data to your home folder on the server and share the folder with curation@saeon.nrf.ac.za (if you need help accessing the server please submit a ticket). For help with completing metadata, see the guidance document for describing biological data, or the guidance document for describing physical or chemical oceanographic data.
