How to publish your data

1. Submit a ticket to the Data Curation team including information on the type and size of data you want to submit, whether or not you need a Digial Object Identifier (DOI) assigned to the data and if the data can be open or if it needs to be embargoed. A member of the data curation team will then send you a metadata record to complete.

2. Complete the metadata record and upload your data to your home folder on the server (if you need help accessing the server please submit a ticket).

3. Submit the completed metadata record to the data curator and let them know that you have uploaded the data. A data curator will upload the data and metadata to MIMS and send you a link to the data, as well as the DOI if you requested one.
